Боснийские выборы кто кому союзник
Перевести не успеваю, извиняйте. Kostunica party hails Bosnian Serb nationalist election win Thu, 16 Nov 2000 13:20:11 PST Copyright 2000 by Agence France-Presse BELGRADE, Nov 16 (AFP) Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica's party congratulated the nationalist Serb Democratic party (SDS) Thursday for its victory at the legislative and presidential polls in the Bosnian Serb republic. "The victory is a proof that the citizens have confidence in the national and state policy of the SDS," Kostunica's Democratic party of Serbia (DSS) said in a statement faxed to AFP. The SDS was founded in 1990 by Radovan Karadzic, indicted by the UN tribunal for war crimes committed during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war. The party's "enviable success is a result of persistent and principle devotion for strict respect of the Dayton peace accord" that ended the Bosnian war in 1995, "which has met massive support of the voters," the DSS said. However, Serbian ultranationalist leader Vojislav Seselj, whose Radical party was banned from taking part in the polls, said Thursday that the SDS was a «Washington puppet.» Partial results of the Bosnian legislative polls show a clear victory for the nationalist SDS party in the Serb-run Republika Srpska (RS), where voters were also electing a president. In the RS, SDS presidential candidate, Mirko Sarovic, won an outright majority of 51.3 percent of the vote, compared to 27.8 percent for rival Milorad Dodik and held a lead in races for the RS parliament as well as winning 14 seats in the central parliament.
